Llao llao, a frozen yogurt delight that has recently reached  Philippines, and it’s already making everyone so curious. The first thing that came to my mind was how do you read or pronounce this? If you’re a filipino you could relate to me. Apparently, it wasn’t what you are thinking it was. Of course I consulted Mr. Google about it and I found out that it originated from Spain. So it was a spanish word, but there was no meaning behind it rather than a frozen yoghurt itself. It was pronouced as Yaw yaw and not lawlaw as your first guess,…

Another buffet dining experience I got here in 7 Flavors. Located in Addition Hills, which was very near to Wilson street in San Juan City.   What was it about this buffet restaurant? Well, I think it is because its one of the business ventures of the well-known “Ping, ping, ping, ping!” host and Chef, Boy Logro. But aside from that, the name of 7 flavors is not just something. As they said, it is named 7 Flavors because of the 7 tastes you’ll find in food; salty, sweet, sour, spicy, bitter, umami, and astringent. What a variety of flavors…

Something has caught my attention as far as I could remember way back and it was CRISP ON 28TH. I had been curious of this place when I first heard it on social media and I’ve been eyeing it since then. The name “Crisp” simply implies for something fresh, new, delicious, and unique kind of dishes. “On 28th” speaks for its location as it was situated along the 28th street ground floor of Alveo building. If ever you’re too overwhelmed with restaurants when in BGC, and want a healthy and unique breakfast, lunch or dinner Crisp on 28th was the…

Cheese Lovers!! Your dream has come to life as MELT GRILLED CHEESERY opened its doors to offer their mouthwatering cheesy creations. Located in the veranda of the 3rd floor of Uptown Place Mall in Bonifacio Global City. Melt’s cheesy menu was really a must try!   Reading their menu was heaven-on-earth-mouthwatering teaser for the cheese monster in me. Every item has the cheesy goodness, oh wait ’till their dessert. This was a brilliant concept, I told myself while devouring those made in heaven melts, which, made me realize that cheese was so versatile and inspiring to use in the kitchen….

My comeback was worth it! Spent the evening at the newly built EVIA mall along Daang Hari in a relaxed and homey italian restaurant, MAMA LOU’S. After more than six months of being absent in Team Aldous’ blog events and being out of the country, finally my long wait for it has ended and started in the most merriest dinner event I had. I’ve missed Team Aldous and all the escapades with them. Mama Lou’s new branch has just made me excited because it was the nearest to reach from my place. Much easier to drag my fambam around compared to…

After some time of living in the ‘Land of Smiles’ as they call Thailand, I had learned the ABC’s of the country (not literally though). As a Filipino, I found this country having the same tropical weather with the Philippines and having the same facial features, thais look like pinoys and vice versa. But really different in religion, food, and of course the tonal language they have which I still had difficulty speaking. Visiting this place is a new and awesome adventure but you must observe some limitations as respect for their culture and as being a visitor as well….

Foremost, I would like to say hello to everyone who has kept in touch and kept visiting this site! You don’t know how thankful I am. Also, I want to apologize for being on hiatus the past months. I guess you all deserve to know what had been going on. So yeah here it goes.. I had already told you from my previous blog post that I was in Thailand, well yes, I’m still here. I stayed here for a while for work (rumaket ang lola, haha). Most of you would be asking what did I do? What work did…

It’s definitely a rainy season here in Thailand and what to do? What to do? Curl up in your pajamas and take a day off because the weather calls for more hangouts in bed. Rather, get up and put on your rain gear and umbrella and brave to fill your cold self with a warm bowl of one of the dishes you can easily found here in Thailand –Suratthani to be specific– which is a plain good ol’ comforting bowl of congee. &nstp; &nstp; It was just walking distance from my place in Donnok its a small eatery type place…

One of the food hubs that got me so giddy to visit was this quaint gelato shop that uses this chemical technique called liquid nitrogen to whip up their tubs of gelato and one of those is OUTRÉ. Don’t just get drooly yet we are just starting. 😁 Today, more and more businesses are getting known or adapting the “liquid nitrogen” formula to get creative and be unique or let’s say innovative in a way that it gets the customers attention through using some uncommon way of making food well that’s on a marketing point of view. Liquid Nitrogen is a cryogenic fluid…

Finally! I’ve been eyeing this restaurant since it has opened here in Manila, particularly in SM Aura. Thankfully Aldous, the mastermind of #TeamAldous, invited me to his birthday bash (or should I say #DousDay) slash blogger event. Very dim lighted place perfect for exclusive dates and special family occasions. Look at those pasta variety freshly made and vibrantly colorful. *insert heart-eyed emoji* Coming late with Louisse, my dear blogger friend, traversing with time on looking for perfect gift and being stuck in traffic in BGC because apparently the balloon letters we have in mind are unavailable good thing we found…
