As early as February I saw that the infos about the World Streetfood Congress and I was delighted that it would be held first time here in the Philippines. Thank God, Philippines was now considered and chosen. Filipinos are now all of a sudden a hungry foodie nation that’s always open to try everything the food scene has to offer. For the past three consecutive years it was held in Singapore but now the WSFC (shortened World Streetfood Congress) opted for a new crowd to display what the world street food scene has to offer. But of course they got…

Vibe Café is the very own cafe of Life Yoga beside it, located along Eight Forbestown Road in Burgos Circle. I am eyeing to try yoga but then again schedule is my biggest enemy 🙁 but soon will do! Love the wall! Vibe cafe is a cute place to hangout alone or with a few friends with a very chill atmosphere. The walls were colorfully painted very nice setting the artistic vibe inside. Also, there are for sale towels, yoga mats, work out clothes, etc., that you may wanna check out, or if you suddenly forgot your things for yoga….

In the midst of high rise buildings and various food places in Makati lies a new, but definitely houses great Ilocano cuisine which you could definitely say NAIMAS! –an ilocano term for delicious. A very dainty and woody with lots of plants. It’s like the porch of a house . Well, thanks to some shots from Louisse as you know and as always, my dear friend always making me her mo(w)del. It has a homey atmosphere inside that lives up to it name ‘Naimas: A Taste of Home’. With wooden bookshelves and tables and a lot of quotes and cute…

Hola! Life lately was too hectic, running around preparing documents and finding important docs while getting yourself become mentally prepared for something that I still cannot share with you guys right now–soon. 🙂 I’ve been pre-occupied and stressed so this is where Kitchenails enter the scene (you ain’t ready for that ain’t you?) haha. It is a really unique and cute concept where they used kitchen utensils for pampering the body and nails hence the name, Kitchenails.   Since I’ve missed an appointment for the Manicure and Pedicure last month they were too nice to let me avail it still…

L.E.S. BAGELS was new york inspired bakery which just recently opened their second store at the Podium in Ortigas. This donut-shaped bread known as Bagels was popular nowadays in New York and now hits Manila. Strategically located within central business district in Ortigas and Mckinley (first location). Although I was too familiar with it, it was really long ago when I tried it so I completely don’t remember how that was. So I said I need to give it a try once more because I’ve been curious since I’m seeing posts from New York foodies about bagels. Behind-the-camera: We’ve got…

Casa Italia is a newly opened cafe is a gelato haven! Pride’s itself for being an italian restaurant which houses high quality of food ingredients, from the staff uniforms to the furnitures. With the summer situation like these who wouldn’t want something that would beat the summer heat and relax at the same time? As soon as you see it from the outside you’ll be lured to come in as if something’s pulling you to enter. Cool and hip and somewhere I would like to stay and compose my blog posts or edit pictures. They also serve pastas, pastries…

And so for another food find in a new foodie haven let’s go for mediterranean cuisine here at Sultan. I am actually surprised with the lineup of restaurants, cafes, and food shops at San Juan specifically along Wilson and P. Guevarra street. So many food hubs had popped up in this place since the last visit almost 2 years ago with friends which we dined at Cafe Ysabel. Sultan Mediterranean Grill branched out on a new location at San Juan in Wilson street. It’s a location perfect for lunch or dinner dates where you can bring someone special or your…

Do you know that Philippines has already been introduced to the bullet trains of Japan? Did your eyes opened wide? Well yes it’s true via this new restaurant concept which they serve food right  through a bullet train. Comes with neat and minimalistic japanese aesthetics that complimented the interactive ordering system, GENKI SUSHI has been offering now to Filipinos a new way of being in a restaurant. I don’t know if it’s fine dining or what but maybe it’s interactive dining restaurant. A loud greeting of “Irasshaimase!” will be heard throughout the diner every time customers enter and thus welcomes…

Once I have tasted it before–while having a lunch break at a canteen near the office–I immediately fell in love with it. Though, I already made it on my bucket list when I get to visit Japan. SOON! Here in the Philippines there are few stores who serves Okonomiyaki and if you’re residing in my area, Cavite, there’s very rare to none. If you know a store who sells this please do tell me on the comments section below, will really appreciate it! Okonomiyaki is a Japanese pancake in which there are lots of varieties/versions in different places in Japan,…

Aguirre Avenue, said to be the South’s Maginhawa version, has had a long line of restaurants and cafes that if you’re a lucky homeowner, you might just wanna stay and hangout inside the village itself because almost everything’s available there. Adding to the restaurants was a new tambayan everyone would love to hangout. It’s name has been derived as a yakitori place in the kanto ( kanto – a filipino word for “corner”, also a place in Japan), hence called, KANTORI YAKITORI. Has an nice alfresco area for those who wants fresh air and smoke. Chef Kelly, the head chef…
